ICT in organizational structure, impacts and prospects by divine1(: 11:58 am On May 29

No doubt, Information and Communication's role in enhancing communication across the globe cannot be over stressed. It has become so popular and irresistible to as many that have have tasted the better part of ICT. Organisation or rather enterprises have benefited more from ICT as it enhance the day to day operations of the organisation whether big or small.

The basic communication channel of any organization begins from the secretary who directly or indirectly passes on a message to any higher office within the organization. Beyound that, Information has to flow from the top management offices down to the departments (if any), and to employees. These communication channels offices takes time and a lot of human effort if not technically harnessed.

Thanks to ICT. It has made information a necessary tool for an organisation to become a working system. Paper work have become less already especially to business who truly understands how best to harness these tools.

As for businesses that own a website, they have just grabbed ICT by its tail. taking advantage of projects and other research materials for instance is an ideal way of doing away with paper documentation by making the durable on softcopies.
