Re: Peaceless Peace by Divepen1(: 3:03 pm On Feb 03, 2016

Peace was always a good girl until hunger became her problem. She used to be a good Christian. She used to have morals. She used to be gentle. Nobody had ever accused of her of stealing. Nobody had ever accused of ever fighting. So, when she killed someone later in her life, one would wonder if she trained under Annalise Keaton or she had the bravery of Wes Gibbons. Though, she wasn’t all that perfect. She sometimes grumbled behind her parent. She sometimes wished for more everything. She still was a good Christian.
Her parents were Founder of a great church in Nigeria. She left home for the university as a good girl, and was always the best students until she got to 200 level in the university, where she met Patricia.
Patricia had lost both her parent, and had been using her body to fend for herself.
Peace met Patricia on one of those days she had no money, when she couldn’t call home for money. They sent her monthly due some two weeks before. Patricia gave her some money to eat, thereby, incorporating her into the work of lust-feeder.
After some times, her roommates started detesting her, because she-who didn’t put on earrings, short skirts, Trousers, see-through blouses, body-hugging clothes- now wore them. With the new contempt shown to her by her roommates, she was forced to live with her friend and teacher, Patricia.
Her parents, who so much trusted her, didn’t know she had become a changed person. They didn’t check on her. She presented herself as matured and spiritual whenever she went home for the holidays.
Peace knew she was as beautiful as a purified gold, that men flocked around her wherever she went. Now she loved it. She enjoyed the way men's eyes followed her, and those of some ladies who stole glances at her.
Later, Peace's life was became peace-less; any week without, her, having intimacy with at least a man would find her being sick. Her life changed because of this addiction.
One Saturday afternoon, when she had no one to meet for her usual escapade, she called one of her Fellowship brothers and invited him to her house.
He was one of those Christian brothers who supposed they were standing. He was handsome, and attended to any call of any fellowship ladies- he saw himself in the women ministry.
After they had exchanged pleasantries,
'Gbadebo, what are you doing now?'
'Nothing'.
Her heart glowed.
'You've always been promising to come to my room. Why not come now, I will prepare a good meal for you.'
'Hmmm! Why not make it amala?'
'Blimey!’ she jumped excitedly on her bed, on which she had been lying,
'I will do just that'.
Peace knew he was a strong Christian, that there were only two ways she could get him, and she had the best one at hand, and would use it for him. It was the most potent and irresistible.
Before his arrival, she went to a local chemist to buy the things she needed to make him enjoy his stay.
As planned, he got there within 2 hours, which was the same time she finished preparing the meal.
After talking for some minutes, she left his side to get the food for him. While dishing out the food, she dropped a drug (which arouses men’s feeling) into the soft drink she got for him.
***
The moment she brought the food to him, he got a reminder from the Holy Spirit that he was supposed to be on a fast. That day, March 1st, was the day he was supposed to have his last Redeem 50-days fasting and prayer.
'My God and I will fix it, later', he said silently to himself. He couldn’t allow another lady not hear the latest Rhema. He overcame his fear. His flesh told him not to go to her house. The bible said he had not been given the spirit of fear.
He rubbed his chin. The bible said blessed be the lord God who kept him from falling. Nothing could happen to him.
‘Have it Gbadebo', she said to him. He became suddenly aware of her blouse, which showed her breast. And that made him marvel at how ladies dress erotically without thinking about men that are around them.
Gbadebo quoted some bible verse to stop his lustful desire. The biblical medicine worked.
'Hmm, this soup is the best I've tasted in a long while', he said.
'Ah! Ah! Gbadebo. Don't you cook better soup? ‘She said, laughing. 'I remember the day we visited you, we ate a very good soup.'
‘That is not my concern. You cook the best', Gbadebo said, pouring the drink into a cup. He saw some whitish things on it. But the foam on the drink, made him believe they were also foam.
A few minutes after he drank from the cup, he couldn’t explain what was happening, but Peace seemed different and strangely appalling. In fact, she seemed to look at him somehow. She came near him and offered to help him pour the remaining soft drink into the cup for him.
He told himself, he must hold himself. He used his mind to read Bible verses but his male organ remained erected. Besides, he could no longer withstand the smell of her body-spray which overshadowed his smelling organ; this made him moan silently, and his breathe become faster.
Yet, he held himself.
Then...

2.
Peace left his side after arousing his feelings, moved toward the bed, and fell on the bed.
‘Yeeech’, she said as she moaned loudly.
Gbadebo was beside her within 20 seconds of her fall. The fall was painful; she had been practicing the fall since she called him two hours ago, but this one was painful. Yet, she must make him do it. The moment he tried lifting her, she swallowed his lip with his.
As if the machine had been activated in him, he grabbed her tightly. They fell on the bed.

While they were enjoying themselves, Peace’s phone rang and she tried picking it. However, the caller was only ‘flashing’ her number.
She punched her phone for a few seconds, did some mental calculations, smiled, and placed her phone on a table (making sure the screen of the phone was facing a dictionary and the back facing Gbadebo and her).
Then, she returned to Gbadebo, who looked as if he was hungry for her. The moment she returned to bed, he pulled her hungrily to himself.

Chapter 4
When they finished the illicit act, Gbadebo smiled at her. She smiled. He looked at his shirt. She smiled at him again as she rose from the bed. She cat-walked to her phone.
‘You know the funniest part of this ordeal is that you are a Christian’.
He look at her ,frowning.
‘ You should be sad that you’ve done something bad’.
He smiled warily. ‘ I know, Peace. I know. I just don’t know how to start it. I’m just smiling because I’m done for and I just need to go to God. He should just forgive me’.
Gbadebo said and shook his head.
‘I understand. But you don’t need to ask for forgiveness’, she said as she wrapped a towel around herself. He looked at her as though she were already speaking in tongues. She loved that look. It showed his insecurities. That was the best means of playing him.
‘ What do you mean?’
‘ I mean this-‘ She said and showed him her phone. ‘ I’ve recorded every of our illicit act in it. It would be wise for you not to pray because I’ll call you every week to do the same thing’
He stared at her as though she were the eight wonder of the heart. Even if there were any wonderful thing in the world none of them could have made him as speechless. His eyes roamed from the phone to her eyes. Then he laughed.
‘ You are joking. Peace-‘
Peace also laughed.’ I like you.’
He sighed. ‘Thank God. Please let us individually go to the throne of grace to obtain mercy from Grace and find help in this time of how desire because I still feel like having some more’.
Peace nodded. Her look showed that she was serious. ’We would do that but that’s after I decide to let you stop coming here’.
‘ Are- are you- are you’, he said, and nodded severally,’ are you for real?’
She winked at him. And played the video.
‘ Oh God’ He said and turned.’ What have I done? What I done? What have I done?’
He punched the wall. The wall vibrated and seemed to shout at him that it wasn’t its fault. His body heaved, smiled. Unless he would transform, there was nothing he could do to her. She was good at boxing, and would do him justice if he tried any stupid thing.

Suddenly, he turned and tried snatching it from her hand. She was ready for him. Her whole being laughed with joy. She withdrew. Santa clause danced around the room or was ti her joy that made her see so. She laughed heartily.
‘ Do you think I’m a fool?’
‘ Please’, he said. Tears were already streaming down his face. He prostrated, pleading with tears flowing down his face like rivers. But, she kept laughing.
‘ See, I, myself, am not foolish enough to allow anybody see it. However, you have to come here as planned and nobody. I mean nobody will have a hint of it’.

She winked. He blinked and agreed. As he left the room, he looked back from time to time. Great happiness danced to Ayefele music within her. She wiggled her hands. And her tongue also came out to do its part of the mocking. If shewere ugly she would have looked like an own with the wide-eye happiness she exhibited.
Peace did not stop there; in fact, she made sure she slept with the president of her fellowship four times. The hunger was insatiable. She wanted more.
Gbadebo heard about it and recorded one of this acts, after hearing rumours of this illicit relationship. She saw joy in his eyes when he told her about it. He promised to give her the video, if she gave him the ones she recorded.
She, foolishly, gave him and deleted the ones on her phone as promised. Promise was a debt and she had learnt to fulfil them. But, Gbadebo wasn’t a follower of such way of life. He preferred to destroy his enemies by removing their heads as though they were zombies
Gbadebo, seeing that she had given him the video, wanted to dent her image for what she had done to him. Her ways had ruined his fellowship with God. Now, God was far from him, and she was the cause. He won’t follow Jesus’ rule of ‘be slapped and turn the second cheek’. And that decided, he texted and told her his plan to play the video in church on Sunday.

Prologue
In the year 2018.

Chapter 1
Misplaced Identity
Noises, laughter, scream.
He opened his eyes. The expression that might be
found on a man that had just woken is the grim
expression, and this was the expression on his
face. But he was not having such expression
because it was typical of a person waking; rather,
he was having the expression because he can’t
help it, because he didn’t remember anything,
anything about where he was, anything about
himself, anything about what he did sometimes
before.

The room of someone who is just waking is
supposed to be his or her room, but he was sure
he had never seen that room before in his life. The
shoes should be his' ,but he can’t remember ever
putting any of them on. Even the clothes on the
hanger were his own but he can’t remember ever
putting any of them on; not the shirt, neither the
polos nor the trousers.

His phone vibrated and rang the moment he placed
his back on the wall. He stopped breathing. Then,
he started breathing very slowly, very slowly as he
slowly scanned the room again. He can’t
remember anything. Not a single thing and that
annoyed him. He smacked his head.

He looked at his phone, which was still vibrating to
see who the caller was.
‘My Love’
My love?
He didn’t have any love or did he? He picked the
call

‘Hello, Jerry dear, how are you?’ The voice of a
lady said, happiness radiating in her voice.

‘I’m fine…’ he said, then changed his mind, ‘I’m
not fine… I’m not fine… Please who are you?’
‘Jerry, what are you saying?’

‘I don’t know you… I don’t know who you are’.
‘What are you saying, you don’t know me? Jerry,
who is there with you?’
‘Here with me? Of course, nobody’, Jerry said. At
the same time, one of the girls among the children
playing outside the room snickered loudly.
‘Is that not the voice of a lady?’

‘Yes… No’
‘You are a liar…You are cheating on me’.
‘Cheating you? I don’t even know you’.
‘Me…? Shade?’
‘Shade’
‘Ah! Jerry, you are a pretender, and I know what to
do for you’.

The call went off. Jerry stared at the phone with
his mouth open widely as he his eyes darted from
one part of the room to another. He smacked his
head again.

‘Where am I?’
‘Who am I?’
‘What is wrong with me?’
He asked himself as he rose from the medium-size
bed he was sleeping on. He was putting on a blue
silk short, and a singlet. He stepped out of the bed
on to the brown rug, examining the room
absentmindedly.
‘What is wrong with me?’
